Take your hot tenting adventures to another level with the Winnerwell Nomad Double View Plus External Air Stove. With it’s unique patented design, the stove brings a new standard of heating efficiency to portable wood burning stoves.
The External Air draw allows the stove to perform safely and independently from the air inside the tent. This unique feature eliminates cold drafts and prevents the stove from consuming the hot air it has created, making it easier to heat a tent or shelter. Safety is also increased because the stove is not consuming the same air as the occupants inside the shelter—making this stove ideal for use in outdoor saunas and shelters with limited venting.
With a total of three viewing windows, 1 on the door and 2 side, the Nomad Double View Plus External Air Stove provides an efficient heating and cooking solution with stunning ambiance when in operation.

Materials: Made entirely from 304 stainless steel, using 1/8” thick material for the cooktop and 1/16” thick material for the body, Winnerwell stoves are unique in the world of portable wood burning stoves. Good quality stainless steel lends several distinct advantages: It does not rust or corrode—a huge advantage in harsh outdoor environments; It can functionally withstand higher temperatures than mild steel, allowing thinner material to be used on the stove body which significantly reduces weight, ultimately making the stove more portable; And lastly, after the first burn, the stainless steel starts to take on a very nice patina color.
Operating Tips: Efficient and proper use of a wood stove requires some patience and practice. When starting your fire, it’s important to quickly establish a hot bed of coals to initiate a strong draw of air through the stove and up the flue. Use a generous amount of small tinder when starting a fire in the stove, slowly adding larger pieces of wood. Always open the door slowly to prevent smoke spillage into your tent or shelter. Never start a fire using flammable accelerates such lighter fluid. We strongly recommend operating your stove outside for the first several burns to practice your fire starting technique and optimizing burn temperature and rate using the airflow controls. It’s important that your stove burns hot enough to efficiently combust the fuel- when the stove is burning efficiently, little to no visible smoke should be exiting the chimney pipe. If the chimney is belching thick visible smoke, this is an indication the stove is not burning efficiently. Also avoid overloading the stove with fuel as this can create excessive heat which can warp or damage the stove.
Installation Recommendations: Always maintain adequate clearances when using a wood stove in a tent or shelter. We recommend at least 18-inches between the stove and any combustible material. When using a non-combustible heat shield or fireproof hearth, clearances can be reduced by half. We strongly recommend the use of a Double Wall Pipe Section and a Flashing Kit where the flue exits the tent or shelter. Always ensure the flue exits through a fireproof stove jack and the combustible materials are kept clear of the stove or flue. Whenever possible, secure the legs of the stove using tent stakes, bolts, or other adequate anchors to prevent the stove from tipping over. This is especially critical in shelters prone to movement like a trailer or boat.
Warnings & Considerations: Never leave a wood stove burning unattended. The surface of Winnerwell Wood Stoves become extremely hot during use, always wear leather gloves and exercise caution when operating the wood stove. Careful supervision of children and pets is mandatory when operating the wood stove to prevent harm or injury. When children or pets are present, we strongly recommend the use of fence panels or a stove guard to prevent unintentional contact with the stove. Use of a carbon monoxide detector is highly recommended. Only burn clean, dry, seasoned firewood in Winnerwell Wood Stoves. Burning green wood can result in carbon monoxide which is hazardous to health as well as increase the build up of creosote in the flue pipe which can create the risk of chimney fire. Clean the flue regularly (approx. every 20 hours of burn time) to avoid excessive creosote build up which can inhibit airflow and create the risk of chimney fire. We recommend a Winnerwell Pipe Brush for cleaning the flue. User assumes responsibility for the safe use of this wood stove.

from 95 reviewsLove it, looks amazing, very functional!
I've only had it a little over a month so far and is holding up great on my 3rd Gen Tacoma. The material is relatively thin metal with a sturdy frame. No insulation or heat barrier, so the inside does get hot. Solid build for under $3k after professional installation. Will report back after putting a rack and tent on it, plus seeing some weather.
Corrected an address mistake fast, very fast
I was getting ready for a camping trip, last minute and after giving them a call I received great service and speedy package delivery. I will definitely be buying from them again!
10/10 overall. Super easy assembly and instillation. You will need 2 people to assemble it and at-least 3-4 able bodied people to lift it on top of the bed. Absolutely no water leaks or rattling when driving, just follow the manual and retighten the clamps every so often. I was also able to reach out to them with my questions and they responded very quickly. This thing looks better than any other camper shell on the road, highly recommend.
Everything was as expected, excellent quality and fast delivered.
I highly recommend this stove and the accessories that are required for through the all application. I have also used the stove on my patio for warmth and relaxation, beautiful windows to watch the fire. My intention for this kit is to provide emergency heating for back room. This stove is usefull and enjoyable all year long. I recommend this website, great service, fast delivery, and I can chat with Nathan ,the owner, as a friend. Thank you.
Ordered my Nomadic 3 tent and it arrived in less than 7 days, ahead of schedule. Installation was pretty straightforward, except the mounting bolts were not long enough due to my UpTop Retrax Truss bed rack, which included 2 iinch load bars. This was easily resolved by purchasing some longer bolts at the hardware store.
Took it out for a maiden trip a week later, in the middle of wicked rainstorm. We heard and felt the wind and rain all night, beat upon the tent, but we remained comfortable, warm and dry. The product was fantastic. Nathan service was equally stellar. From the point of trying to select the right tent to his various accommodations in finding the right companion products, I was very impressed. I will recommend him to all of my friends, and continue to purchase my products from him.
Installed my UpTop Truss rack over my Retrax retractable bed cover on my 2020 Tacoma. The video instructions from the manufacturer were a little bit outdated, because they have updated/upgraded a few of the connectors, but it was not too difficult to determine where those changes were. A few hours of work and it was solidly and securely on the truck, ready to mount my OVS Nomadic 3 RTT, which I took out for a test campout a week later. Everything functioned beautifully and I am supper happy with the purchase.
Awsome product, I loved it. Greats customer service .
Very impressed with the ease of purchase, fast shipping, and great Bundle! Can't wait to get the fire going.
I've used this tent on three separate occasions this season. Great tent for overlanding. Easy to set up and well thought out. I can set it up in under a half hour by myself. The zippers are good. It is triple stitched where needed and double stitched every where else. We've been using this tent with a wood stove and would definitely recommend a hot mat (heat resistant) under the stove as the floor is not heat resistant. It is well made, roomy and comfortable. It hasn't rained on us yet so I can't speak for the water resistance. Perfect tent for car camping or overlanding.
As a newbie West Virginia Overlander, I'm just getting my gear set up in the lower 48. Nathan has been fantastic in helping me get my OVS Nomadic 3 Extended tent system purchased and delivered quickly. My tent arrived within a few days. I am particularly impressed with his follow up texts to make sure everything is working properly. LiveMoreOutside is my new go-to company for all my overlanding gear. Lori C
In stock, fast delivery and great customer service. Sounds like a generic review but all are accurate
I have an elk hunt in a few weeks and I was slacking and waited until the end of August to get all my accessories for my Whiteduck Alpha tent. As luck would have it, Whiteduck and the entire internet is out of stock for this rain fly. Livemoreoutside.com said they had some in stock so in a panic I put the order in. The next day, I emailed livemoreoutside to ask if they actually had it in stock or if it was just a glitch in their inventory. The next day, Nathan personally called me to let me know he had called around to his distributors and found one and it was on the way. He sent me the tracking code and checked in throughout the process. Four days after I put my order in I have received the rain fly. I am so impressed with how personal and prompt livemoreoutside was with replying to my question and sending the product. I highly recommend purchasing from them and I will recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a tent or accessories. Thanks again Nathan!
