The Tuff Stuff Anti-Condensation Mat to help combat moisture buildup. Place under the mattress of the Ranger 65, The Original Ranger, Delta, Trailhead, or Elite Rooftop Tent for extra circulation that helps fight condensation from forming on the tent’s walls and floor.

- Original Ranger, Delta & Trailhead Anti-Condensation Mat L/W/H: 48 x 56 x 1/4 inches
- Ranger 65 Anti-Condensation Mat L/W/H: 48 x 65 x 1/4 inches
- Elite Anti-Condensation Mat L/W/H: 48 x 76 x 1/4 inches
*NOTE: Can be used in our Alpha tents but trimming is required. Does not fit perfectly due to the pannels on the alpha tent being different sizes, but will fit with minor modification
Instructions
- Remove the mattress from the tent.
- Lay the 2 mats on both surfaces of the tent floor so there is no overlapping (trimming may be necessary).
- Using 3M Self Adhesive Tape (not included) or 2-4 self-tapping screws (not included) and wide fender washers, screw through the mat at the front 2 corners closest to the ladder and move to the middle.
- This is done so the mat does not slide out while opening the tent.
- Put the mattress back in place and enjoy!

Why use an anti-condensation mat?
The answer is simple; to reduce the condensation inside of your tent that can occur underneath the mattress. Don't learn the hard way like us when it comes time to go home and you notice moisture dripping down the floor of your tent... Add an anti-condensation mat and make your rooftop tent last for years!
Why would there be moisture in the tent?
Because the tent holds its temperature inside so well and the floors are made of aluminum, body heat transfers through the floor causing varying temperatures between the outside and inside surfaces (temperature gradient). When this temperature change occurs, moisture can also occur under the mattress on the warmest part of the floor. To eliminate this, add our 1/4 inch anti-condensation mat which provides a layer between your body and the aluminum floor to reduce the temperature change which leads to moisture. Think of drinking ice water from an aluminum cup. This is why an anti-condensation mat is so important.

I am one of the earliest customers Astrodome, I bought it and didn’t set it up for almost a year. By the time we set it up, we were blown away by the beauty of this space we purchased it on a mountain ledge in our glamping retreat in Lake County California two hours north of San as much as I love this space there are definitely some challenges with it in our location. It might work better than other locations, but we have had problems with the stakes, slipping and collapsing in the ground beneath and with the prevailing winds, it did stay up and it stays dry, even in tornadoes, but because the wind hits it from One Direction coming from the coast, this is definitely been a challenge for us we are going to try adding some weight inside it. The guests absolutely love this space keep in mind that with those skylights it’s going to get hot in the summertime but what’s nice is in the winter. It heats up almost passive solar. it’s also wonderful with a woodstove. A very cost effective alternative to a geodesic dome! If you want to experience it stay in ours, on Hipcamp.

I was wondering if you are able to sell just two extra mounts or do they just come in a set of six.
The color was even better in person. For well, looks well made and was easy to fold up and put into the carrying case. There was a bunch of colored plastic pieces from manufacturing on the mat, but I was able to vacuum it right up so be careful pulling it out.
Although it took a little extra time the delay very of my OVS Truck Topper was great. Good price too!

I was in the market for a 3/4 length roof rack for my 4Runner as I wanted an upgrade from the OEM rails but still wanted to retain a somewhat OEM look. I am very happy that I went with the Sherpa Needle. It is a high quality rack with the best install method out of all the racks I looked at. I like that it is designed so you don’t have to deal with a mess of silicone when mounting. It is also nice that the fairing sits just above the roof instead of resting on it so that the paint does not get scratched. I was worried about wind noise because of this but I am happy to say there is no added wind noise at all.
I am also glad I purchased this rack through Live More Outside. I shopped around and they had the best pricing considering I was able to get a discount code, shipping was free, and they don’t charge sales tax. Shipping was prompt and I received the rack sooner than I thought I would.
Overall I am very pleased with this purchase and I will definitely come back to Live More Outside as I continue to build my rig.
