Ring-Tail Copper Damascus Skinning Knife – Resin Handle & Sheath
Built for hunters, ranch workers and collectors of distinctive Western knives, this ring-tail Copper Damascus skinning knife combines a compact working profile with detailed craftsmanship. The knife measures 7.5 inches overall and carries a 3.5-inch fixed blade, providing the controlled proportions needed for field dressing, skinning and other precise outdoor cutting tasks. Its broad blade and curved cutting edge offer a practical working shape while maintaining a bold custom appearance.
The Copper Damascus blade displays an intricate layered pattern across its surface. Flowing lines, textured formations and contrasting sections make every blade visually individual. A pronounced bevel runs toward the cutting edge, while the tapered point supports careful detail work. Copper Damascus should be treated as a specialty blade material: clean it by hand, dry it immediately and apply a thin coat of knife-safe oil before storage.
The handle features polished brown resin with translucent amber and darker marbled tones. Its contoured shape follows the hand naturally, while two metal pins secure the scales and complement the blade’s polished details. At the end of the handle, a large metal ring-tail provides a recognizable Western profile. I am one of the earliest customers Astrodome, I bought it and didn’t set it up for almost a year. By the time we set it up, we were blown away by the beauty of this space we purchased it on a mountain ledge in our glamping retreat in Lake County California two hours north of San as much as I love this space there are definitely some challenges with it in our location. It might work better than other locations, but we have had problems with the stakes, slipping and collapsing in the ground beneath and with the prevailing winds, it did stay up and it stays dry, even in tornadoes, but because the wind hits it from One Direction coming from the coast, this is definitely been a challenge for us we are going to try adding some weight inside it. The guests absolutely love this space keep in mind that with those skylights it’s going to get hot in the summertime but what’s nice is in the winter. It heats up almost passive solar. it’s also wonderful with a woodstove. A very cost effective alternative to a geodesic dome! If you want to experience it stay in ours, on Hipcamp.

I was wondering if you are able to sell just two extra mounts or do they just come in a set of six.
The color was even better in person. For well, looks well made and was easy to fold up and put into the carrying case. There was a bunch of colored plastic pieces from manufacturing on the mat, but I was able to vacuum it right up so be careful pulling it out.
Although it took a little extra time the delay very of my OVS Truck Topper was great. Good price too!

I was in the market for a 3/4 length roof rack for my 4Runner as I wanted an upgrade from the OEM rails but still wanted to retain a somewhat OEM look. I am very happy that I went with the Sherpa Needle. It is a high quality rack with the best install method out of all the racks I looked at. I like that it is designed so you don’t have to deal with a mess of silicone when mounting. It is also nice that the fairing sits just above the roof instead of resting on it so that the paint does not get scratched. I was worried about wind noise because of this but I am happy to say there is no added wind noise at all.
