PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
A santoku profile differs from a gyuto in its shorter, flatter blade and rounded tip, favoring a straight up-and-down chopping motion over the rocking cut a longer chef knife typically uses. Pink or magenta dyed wood brings a genuinely unusual color choice into kitchen cutlery, a departure from the natural or dark tones most chef knives favor. The Magenta Trail Chef Knife combines both details, continuing the tradition of every magenta themed chef knife built with real distinctive style.
Introduction
At 9 inches overall, with a 4-inch blade and 5-inch handle, the Magenta Trail Chef Knife favors handle length for extended grip control during kitchen prep. This pink dyed wood handle knife features a brass bolster and pin, secured through full tang San Mai steel construction. This piece suits home cooks who want a genuinely distinctive color statement on a functional kitchen blade.
Magenta Trail Chef Knife Blade
The santoku profile on this brass pin chef blade offers a shorter, flatter cutting edge with a rounded tip, well suited to straight chopping motions in the kitchen. San Mai steel with a black acid-washed finish and etched Damascus core runs through this santoku style cutter, giving it both a hard cutting edge and tougher outer layers. This black washed chef blade reveals its layered core through the acid-washed treatment.
This knife works well for chopping, slicing, and general kitchen prep tasks where the santoku's straight-down motion suits the work. Hand wash and dry the San Mai blade after each use rather than using a dishwasher. Clean the magenta dyed wood handle with a dry cloth to preserve both the color and grain.

I'm very pleased with this tent after having it for two years I've been in the rain I've been in the snow and it's held up pretty good but the cover that covers it did not hold up that good but the tent is perfect
Really enjoy the awning. Easy setup and got a little rain on the first trip. Easy to adjust for the run off. Very happy with the purchase!
I am one of the earliest customers Astrodome, I bought it and didn’t set it up for almost a year. By the time we set it up, we were blown away by the beauty of this space we purchased it on a mountain ledge in our glamping retreat in Lake County California two hours north of San as much as I love this space there are definitely some challenges with it in our location. It might work better than other locations, but we have had problems with the stakes, slipping and collapsing in the ground beneath and with the prevailing winds, it did stay up and it stays dry, even in tornadoes, but because the wind hits it from One Direction coming from the coast, this is definitely been a challenge for us we are going to try adding some weight inside it. The guests absolutely love this space keep in mind that with those skylights it’s going to get hot in the summertime but what’s nice is in the winter. It heats up almost passive solar. it’s also wonderful with a woodstove. A very cost effective alternative to a geodesic dome! If you want to experience it stay in ours, on Hipcamp.
I bought one of these at Scheels and absolutely love it. Great design, has everything you would ever need in a first aid/trauma/survival kit. Have one in all of my vehicles now. These guys truly thought of everything
A complete coverage of possibilities for my project and needs.
I love my new tent stove. Costumer service was also attentive and great to work with. Thank you.
The mounts work perfect with the truck bed rack I have on. Thank you for the excellent line of communication. You guys never kept me in the dark. I will ordering from you guys again.
I was wondering if you are able to sell just two extra mounts or do they just come in a set of six.
The color was even better in person. For well, looks well made and was easy to fold up and put into the carrying case. There was a bunch of colored plastic pieces from manufacturing on the mat, but I was able to vacuum it right up so be careful pulling it out.
Although it took a little extra time the delay very of my OVS Truck Topper was great. Good price too!
Fully engaged with customer, helped me get the crossbar I needed on time!
Product worked out great for my rack setup.
Order was delayed due to manufacturer delays, but my questions were answered and expectations on timing reset along the way. Cross bars were in perfect condition and work great!
I was in the market for a 3/4 length roof rack for my 4Runner as I wanted an upgrade from the OEM rails but still wanted to retain a somewhat OEM look. I am very happy that I went with the Sherpa Needle. It is a high quality rack with the best install method out of all the racks I looked at. I like that it is designed so you don’t have to deal with a mess of silicone when mounting. It is also nice that the fairing sits just above the roof instead of resting on it so that the paint does not get scratched. I was worried about wind noise because of this but I am happy to say there is no added wind noise at all.
I am also glad I purchased this rack through Live More Outside. I shopped around and they had the best pricing considering I was able to get a discount code, shipping was free, and they don’t charge sales tax. Shipping was prompt and I received the rack sooner than I thought I would.
Overall I am very pleased with this purchase and I will definitely come back to Live More Outside as I continue to build my rig.
By far one of the best customer service! Nathan has been a huge help on any questions and quick to respond! Live more outside is top notch. We are getting ready to hit our first outing with our new RTT. Cant wait to test it out. We also just purchased a 270 awning. I found one on another website but wanted to keep my business with live more outside. Nathan price matched and beat their price! We will continue to keep our business with this company!
